Sundance Studio is many things, including a test site. You may see different features and functionality from time to time as well as a variety of looks from corporate to kooky. Sundance Studio is built using the Joomla CMS (content management system). We just completed migrating to Joomla version 1.5 from version 1.0.15. Version 1.5 has more builtin features, a nicer interface, and a more streamlined administrative backend, but also has completely different file and table structures from previous versions. If you are planning to upgrade make sure you obtain the appropriate migration tools and follow all instructions to assure your content remains intact after the migration/upgrade process is complete. Do you need a new website or does your current site need to be rescued? Let us know. We offer web design and development of all sorts: - simple static websites of few or many pages
- interactive websites using expandable, modular, database-driven content management tools
- video formats (.flv, .swf, .mov, .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .rm, .ram, .wma, .mp3 etc.)
Websites built using the content management model means that after your site is set up, you can (if you wish) make many of the day-to-day changes and modifications yourself. You can do this through your browser, without knowing any code!

If you've read anything at all about Content Management Systems (CMS), you'll probably know at least three things: CMS are the most exciting way to do business, CMS can be really, I mean really, complicated and lastly Portals are absolutely, outrageously, often unaffordably expensive.
Example Caption Joomla! is set to change all that ... Joomla! is different from the normal models for portal software. For a start, it's not complicated. Joomla! has been developed for the masses. It's licensed under the GNU/GPL license, easy to install and administer and reliable. Joomla! doesn't even require the user or administrator of the system to know HTML to operate it once it's up and running. |
